Hexarthrius parryi
|
Parryi stag beetles is common name for this furious fighter from beetles family. With the dark black skin combined with yellow color on the back and curve jaw makes this beetles so beautiful and exotics. They live in Sumatra island and live in area where the altitude is over 1000m and temperature 20-25 degree Celcius. This species has many similarity with the hexarthrius buqueti from Java, except the color of their back. Their size varied from 5 to 8,5 cm, the Guinnes Record for this species is 10,1 cm, which I saw and measured by myself. |
